Orange December
The Orange December campaign was created in 2014 by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology (SBD). The action is part of the National Campaign for the Prevention of Skin Cancer. Since 1999, an annual effort to provide free assistance has benefited more than 600,000 people. Skin cancer is the most frequent in Brazil, but when discovered early on, the disease has more than a 90% chance of being cured.
